Percy Grainger

Grainger's folk song settings and band works are performed constantly, especially in school and community bands. 'Lincolnshire Posy' is a wind band classic. His orchestral works appear less often, and his experimental pieces are rarely performed. He's absolutely evergreen in the band world, though his experimental achievements are underappreciated.
